MakingMadamLeotaPillow

1 leota 2 leota

The iconic Haunted Mansion’s Madam Leota was turned into a needle punch and yarn embroidery pillow. This custom design goes from the hand-drawn beginning to the final stitch end in a time-lapse covering many days’ worth of work. A variety of spooky, magical color yarns highlights this famous fortune tellers face and hair as it floats eternally in her crystal ball. This was a dual side needle punch project with face created with short punches and the hair created on the reverse side with longer punches. A few fly-away hair strands were then hand embroidered over the top. The unique pillow will sit beside the Hat Box Ghost pillow created by the Mitchell’s in a future Halloween sitting room!
